1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the WorkDest website, mobile application, or any related services (collectively, the “Service”) — including by creating an account, browsing, applying to a role, posting a job, or making a purchase — you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not access or use the Service.
If you represent a company or organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms. Your continued use of the Service after we update these Terms constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to create a candidate profile and 18 to purchase paid services. Companies must provide accurate business details and maintain an active subscription for premium modules such as analytics.
3. Platform usage
- Do not post misleading roles, false credentials, or spam invitations.
- Respect intellectual property rights when sharing job descriptions or portfolio work.
- Avoid scraping data or reverse engineering the platform without written permission.
- Use our interview tools solely for professional collaboration.
4. Payments, Billing & Pricing
All prices for our products and services are as displayed on our Pricing page. We reserve the right to change our pricing, fees, plans, or features at any time, with or without notice, at our sole discretion. Price changes will apply to new purchases and to renewals that begin after the change takes effect. Unless otherwise stated, all fees are in US dollars (USD) and are non-refundable except as expressly provided in our Refund Policy.
By providing a payment method, you authorize us (or our payment providers) to charge it for all applicable fees. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current.
Refunds: Full refunds are available within 14 calendar days of payment, provided the account has not seriously abused the service. After 14 days, no refunds are issued. See our Refund Policy for complete details.
Cancellation: You may cancel anytime from your Billing dashboard. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period. Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled.
5. Content ownership
You retain ownership of resumes, job ads, documents, and messages you upload. By publishing content, you grant WorkDest a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, index, and display the material to deliver the service. We may remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.
6. Confidentiality
Access to private pipelines, interview notes, or compensation data must remain confidential. Sharing another company’s proprietary information without permission is prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that any particular results or outcomes (including hiring outcomes or job placement) will be achieved.
We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or legality of job postings, resumes, company profiles, or other user-generated content, and we are not responsible for the conduct of any user, employer, or candidate. WorkDest does not employ, engage, or act as agent for any job seeker or employer, and no employment, agency, or contractor relationship is created between you and WorkDest through your use of the Service. We are not a law firm, financial advisor, or employer of record.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall WorkDest, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, or licensors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, any content, or any interactions or transactions between users, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence), statute, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Because some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages, in such jurisdictions our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the extent any liability is not excluded or limited under applicable law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts paid by you to WorkDest in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate policies, fail to pay invoices, or pose security risks. You may close your account anytime; obligations relating to payment, confidentiality, and indemnification survive termination.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflicts-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our Service, legal requirements, or business practices. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Service.
